Following the success of the MODISTO project in its first edition (MODISTO I), a new edition of this project, known as MODISTO II, has been launched.

Following the success of the MODISTO project in its first edition (MODISTO I), a new edition of this project, called MODISTO II, has been launched.
With this project, we aim to address a key issue in the fashion sector – sustainability – by creating an e-learning course on sustainable fashion.
It will be a free, universally accessible course, comprising four teaching modules and four practical case studies covering the skills required throughout the supply chain, for future use by students and trainers/teachers within the education and training system, professionals in the Portuguese textile and clothing industry, as well as others interested in the subject.
The various teaching modules will be developed by the different partners based in the following countries: Portugal, Spain, the Czech Republic and Italy.
Portugal, represented by ATP and Modatex, has been tasked with developing the learning module ‘Reducing energy and water consumption in clothing production’.
ASECOM (Association of Clothing and Fashion Companies of the Community of Madrid) is the coordinating body for this project, which is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme.
