Modisto

The MODISTO (Moda y Diseño Sostenible) project aims to develop teaching materials and promote skills and knowledge regarding innovative practices in sustainable production and consumption within the fashion sector.

As part of this project, an e-learning course will be developed to support VET teachers and trainers; its content will focus on sustainability in the clothing and fashion sector.

The e-learning course resources will be made available and accessible to all interested parties as an open educational resource.

The e-learning course designed by MODISTO will consist of four modules: i. Eco-design;
ii. Sustainable materials;
iii. Eco-labelling and certification;
iv. Sustainability (fashion and clothing); including activities based on real-life case studies.

The course will be available in Spanish, Portuguese, Czech, Italian and English.

The MODISTO project involves vocational training centres, professional associations from the fashion and clothing sectors, and organisations involved in implementing vocational programmes and developing teaching resources, from Spain, Portugal, the Czech Republic and Italy.

MODISTO is a project funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ Programme, which began in November 2020 and is due to end in late October 2022 (24 months).
