Project Beneficiaries | Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises producing tradable and/or internationalisable goods and services, or which contribute to the value chain of such goods and services.
Thematic Areas of Intervention
Intervention Model | “Assessment of the company’s current situation and evaluation of current practices within the project’s area of intervention.
Diagnosis and Development Plan, identifying the objectives to be achieved and defining training and consultancy needs (aligned with the chosen area of intervention).
Implementation of the Development Plan through the delivery of tailored consultancy services within the company and training programmes.”
Digital Economy | Development of modern distribution networks and the bringing of goods and services to market; creation and/or adaptation of business models with a view to integrating SMEs into the digital economy; web presence; introduction of information systems applied to new methods of distribution and logistics; Convergence of technologies and the integration of physical and digital systems; use of sophisticated marketing tools to expand market presence.
Innovation Management | Introduction of new methods or new philosophies of work organisation; application of methods to stimulate creativity; design thinking activities; development of innovation plans; projects to develop new products, services or business initiatives; promotion of intrapreneurship; encouragement of inter-company cooperation; layout redesign and improvements; benchmarking initiatives.
Implementation of management systems (Quality, Environment, Health and Safety at Work or others) | Raising awareness of and contributing to the implementation of quality, environmental, occupational health and safety management systems, or other management systems, with a view to their subsequent certification (whether under the Portuguese quality system or international certification schemes).
